NaSi KanDaR PeDas iPoH

Ada beberapa benda yang aku jarang-jarang miss setiap kali aku ada di Ipoh. After all aku spent kebanyakan masa sekolah menengah aku di sini, dengan bebudak sekolah & member2 ... selalunya berjalan2 dan relax (Tak best la nak gunak word lepak!). Banyak kenangan aku kat town ni, so everytime aku sampai kat sini aku suka pergi ke tempat2 yang boleh buat aku ingat semula my fond memories here. Antara perkara2 yg aku tak boleh miss kalau aku ada kat sini ialah:

1. Aku selalu drive pass sekolah lama aku SMA Izzuddin Shah (SIS) ... saja2 nak tengok sekolah.

2. Mesti nak makan Mee Rebus Ramli sama ada kat Tasek atau kat depan Wooley ... 'port game' dulu2. Kalau kat depan Wooley tu boleh sambil2 tengok Wooley.

3. Kadang2 aku pergi Super Kinta & Yik Fong. Walaupun banyak shopping complex sekarang ni kat Ipoh, feeling dia lain bila masuk these two shopping complex.

4. Kalau lunch mesti nak pergi ke Yong Suan for my special nasi kandar ... TRUST ME THE NUMBER ONE NASI KANDAR IN IPOH!

Nasi kandar ni namanya Nasi Beriani Ayam Pedas. Nasi kandar ni dah memang jadi kitorang punya favourite sejak dulu dari zaman2 sekolah lagi. Sambal pedas dia memang special sampai menjilat jari. Pedas tapu UMMPHH! Kedai ni kalau time lunch tengahari memang ramai orang beratur.

Jangan confuse pulak dengan nama Yong Suan yang jual nasi kandar. Kedai ni adalah kedai mamak. Cuma share dengan kedai kopi cina. Bila makan kat sini, nasi kandar order dengan mamak tapi air dengan kedai kopi. Menunya macam menu nasi kandar yang biasa tapi yang specialnya ialah sambal pedas mamak ni. Memang SEDAPP!! dengan ambiance kedai kopi, memang menimbulkan selera.

Cuma aku tak dapat ambik gambar nasi ni dalam plate kat kedai sebab kali ni aku tapau bawak balik rumah. Ni sebab dah bercampur aduk, so tak boleh aku nak snap special sambal mamak ni. But for those love nasi kandar, Here is one stop you must not miss if you are in Ipoh. Standard meal aku will consist of nasi, kuah campur, telur masin & timun (Memang hidangan standard mamak ni) ayam goreng, & pakej sambal (xtra) ... cukup! memang dah feeling habis.

Direction ke kedai: Drive all the way to Ipoh town where you will find Yuk Choy Primary School on your right, upon reaching the first traffic light, turn left and you will find Yong Suan located on the lift side (First shop on the left after the turn).

Those who are not familiar with Ipoh: Exit Simpang Pulai toll. Turn right and drive all the way to Ipoh town until u reach roundabout in front of Casuarina & Menteri besar's residence. Take 9 o'clock and u will see Yuk Choy on the right. If you are from Jelapang Toll, exit Tasek interchange, drive until Tambun traffic light (Near Pantai Puteri Medical Centre), take right and drive all the way until u reach the roundabout.

SeLaMaT TaHun BaRu 2oo8!

Rasanya tak terlewat lagi aku nak ucapkan SELAMAT TAHUN BARU 2008!. Semoga tahun baru 2008 ni akan membawa lebih banyak kebahagiaan, kejayaan, kesihatan, kekayaan, kegembiraan dan memberikan lebih makna dalam hidup kita semua ... termasuk menjadikan kita semua a better muslim and a better servant of The Almighty Allah. Walaupun bunyinya macam poyo ... tapi let us all hope that 2008 will bring greater peace into this world and may people of all races, religions and beliefs, and from all parts of the world lives together in peace!

Special TAHNIAH! to Afza & Syaban yang dahpun bertunang dua minggu lepas ... CONGRATULATION! & SEMOGA TERUS BERBAHAGIA DAN BERKEKALAN SEPANJANG HAYATTT!!!. Sorry lah ye sebab kitorang tak dapat pergi meng 'huru-hara'kan keadaan sebab balik kampung. Tetapi aku tetap jugak pergi tolong makan kan laksa kuala utk ko afza ... cuma popiah Station yg ko cakap tu tak bukak sebab dia raya lagii.

CONGRATULATION! jugak to SHAMU yg dah jadik uncle to Baby Zulfa ... KO BILE LAGI?

To my cousin ... UDIN & WIFE ... SELAMAT PENGANTIN BARU! Semoga berbahagia & berkekalan selama-lamanya ... rambut belatuk dah tak boleh buat lagi sebab dah jadi husband orang!
