My Best Pick ...

Recently, my friend ask me since I travel a lot (Holiday & work; Which he also a bit confuse, being in HR why i need to travel), what would be my best hotel's experience. Struggling through the weekend ... i finally manage to list my own 'Best Hotel Experience":
  1. Ocean Wing Deluxe, Nexus Resort Karambunai, Sabah, Malaysian Borneo - Private balcony which mine is directly accessible from lawn, white sandy beach stretching about 5km (I only get to explore half of it), beautiful view of open sea, great scenery creating romantic feeling, great facilities, horseback riding, ultimate holiday experience!
  2. Magellan Sutera, Sutera Harbour, Sabah - Excellent tropical landscape, open sea view from room's window (U can actually see all the islands within the TAR national park, jetski at the open sea (I did it!),luxury room with magnificent wood & craftwork. Very luxurious ... and it is in KK town.
  3. Junior Suite, The Northam All Suite Penang, Penang Island - Damn spacious room with separate area between living, bedroom and bathroom, superb jacuzzi!, very elegant and prestigious hotel, great location (Quite near to Gurney), great value ... this is a hotel you don't need other facilities and great surrounding ... i can live with just the jacuzzi!
  4. Pacific Sutera, Sutera Harbour, Sabah - Modern and prestigious design, elegance room with open sea view, great facilities, direct access to marina with fancy yatch and boats and of course in KK town.
  5. Swiss Garden Resort & Spa Kuantan, Beserah Kuantan, Pahang - Sandy Balok beach, excellent facilities, comfortable room ... not far from kuantan, relaxing environment (Not for me coz i had to work)
  6. Hotel Equatorial Bangi, Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur - Majestic hotel! (Seriously huge), comfortable room (Could have been excellent but i only stayed in the cheapest though still not cheap), excellent golf course i think (Who am i to judge) ...
  7. Pan Pacific Glenmarie Resort Shah Alam, Glenmarie Shah Alam, Selangor - Excellent hotel, chosen because i get a good deal for this stay, excellent golf course i think (Coz i see many people play even at night) ...
  8. City Bayview Hotel, Kuah, langkawi, Kedah - I had to mention this, not a luxurious 5 stars hotel, but this is home. Been here so often people recognize and welcome you. In Kuah town therefore very convenient for shopping!
  9. Hotel Equatorial Melaka, Bandar Hilir, Melaka - My preferred hotel in Malacca. Comfortable room, good facilities, prestigious, a door step away from Bandar Hilir shopping complexes, i like the black coffee ...
  10. Restu Bali Hotel, Legian Road, Bali, Indonesia - This one had to be in because I like what creative people can do with limited budget. Not a luxurious type of hotel ... its in a budget category but the jacuzzi is nice, pool is well designed, lots of woods & stones carves ... rich of indonesian heritage ... all nice except i had to take bread for breakfast.
  11. Sunway Lagoon Hotel & Spa, Bandar Sunway, Kuala lUmpur
  12. Premier Room, Concorde Hotel, Kuala Lumpur
  13. Best-Westin Seri Pacific, Kuala Lumpur (Formerly Pan Pacific)
  14. Swiss Garden Golf Resort & Spa Damai Laut, Lumut, Perak
  15. Holiday Inn Kuching, Sarawak
  16. Sommerset Kuala Rompin, Rompin, Pahang
  17. Swissotel Merchant Court, Merchant Road, Singapore
  18. Renaissance Kota Bharu Hotel, Kota Bharu, Kelantan
  19. Royal Adelphi Seremban, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan
  20. City Bayview Hotel Singapore, Bencoleen Street, Singapore
Worth mentioning are Primula Parkroyal Hotel Kuala Terengganu, Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu, Sunway Hotel Georgetown, Sunway Hotel Seberang Jaya, Holiday Villa Alor Setar, Cititel Penang (And cafe for projecting live world cup 2006 matches), Puteri Pacific Johor Bharu, Casuarina Hotel Ipoh, Renaissance Hotel Melaka.
